Sick Ranger is a powerful high speed 3D camera for advanced applications. As well as measuring 3D object shape, other features such as gray scale image and laser scatter can also be captured. Measuring the 3rd dimension adds height and shape measurement data, which can be critical when correctly classifying an object. Ranger is fully supported by MVTec’s HALCON image processing library also available from Multipix Imaging.
