Apogee cameras have cooled sensors and are therefore suited to applications where low noise and relatively long exposure times are required.

The Ascent series supports a variety of interline transfer sensors with high quantum efficiency and low dark current noise.  Sensors up to 29M pixels with 16bit digitization and cooling to 35degrees below ambient.

Most cameras are available in colour and monochrome with USB output.

Typical applications include; Chemiluminescence and Fluorescence in life sciences, colorimetry, Fundus imaging and astronomy.
