Inviso Laser

Lasers are truly mono-chromatic, coherent sources of light. Laser diodes produce light at a single wavelength and thus have excellent focusing properties though lenses (no chromatic aberration). This applies to both emission and collection properties.
Lasers are available in a wide variety of wavelengths and output powers both in the visible and Near Infra Red. They are used for a variety of applications including alignment and 3D triangulation.
Lasers for machine vision are generally supplied with diffraction optics which generate patterns such as lines and crosshairs etc. Options include Triggers, high uniformity output and custom Optics.
