Honey lighting
Alternatives
Honey Coloured lights use 590nm LEDs that are sometimes referred to as amber or golden in colour. These lights are available in a number of formats including Ring lights, Bar lights and flood lights.
The wavelength of these LED’s corresponds to the peak sensitivity of a Sony Ex-view CCD and is close of the peak of the human eye. It is therefore the optimum colour to use with monochrome Ex-view sensor cameras when exposure times are very short or when the application is suffering from insufficient intensity of light. They also make a superior replacement to sodium lamps in photosensitive work such as a resist.
