Multipix Imaging are pleased to announce a distribution agreement with New Imaging Technologies (NIT), a French company pioneering Wide Dynamic Range solutions. With over 15 years of academic research, NIT master in sensor design through to complete camera engineering, offering a complete portfolio of cameras including their unique Short Wave InfraRed (SWIR) technology.
The use of SWIR imaging enables users to “See Beyond the Visible”. SWIR is similar to visible light in that photons are reflected or absorbed by an object, providing the strong contrast needed for higher resolution imaging, this is unlike thermal images for example that rely on radiated photons.

The NIT WiDy SWIR camera series covers a wide wavelength range from 900nm to 1700nm. The WiDy plug-and-play camera is delivered calibrated with proprietary WiDyVISION software for ease of use. SWIR cameras are used within a wide range of applications throughout machine vision, defence & security, instrumentation and night vision.
