Imperx Cheetah CMOS Cameras, High Speed meets High Resolution

IMPERX introduces their newest line of CMOS Cameras available in 6 MP and 12 MP with sensors from On-Semi.  The Cheetah is intended not only for machine vision, but also surveillance, reconnaissance, aerospace and intelligent traffic systems. These cameras have very fast frame rates, high resolution, low noise, wide dynamic range, excellent near-infrared sensitivity, and an extremely flexible architecture so one camera can do multiple jobs.

The C2880 6MP model incorporates the On Semiconductor KAC-06040 CMOS image sensor with a native resolution of 2832 x 2128 pixels a 1” optical format delivering up to 135 frames per second in either global or rolling shutter mode with either a Camera Link® Full or CoaXPress output. Extended dynamic range technology coupled with extremely robust blooming suppression provide clean imagery in even the most severe uncontrolled lighting applications.

The C4080 12MP model incorporates a number of unique features tailored to reduce system complexity, maximize interface bandwidth, and expand the usable operational range. Incorporating the On Semiconductor KAC-12040 CMOS image sensor with a native resolution of 4000 x 3000 in a 4/3” optical format delivering up to 70 frames per second in either global or rolling shutter mode with either a Camera Link® Full or CoaXPress output.
