Multipix Prepare to Take on the Yorkshire Peaks

Last year marked the start of Multipix’s ‘Charity of the Year’ initiative; with a goal to raise as much money as possible for a charity chosen by us as a company. This year our charity of choice is Canine Partners.

What do Canine Partners do?

Canine Partners is a charity that transforms the lives of people with physical disabilities by partnering them with assistance dogs. Their amazing dogs bring a greater independence and quality of life to their partners, offering security, companionship, and practical help with everyday household tasks. These life-changing dogs also provide psychological and social benefits including increased independence, confidence, social interaction and self-esteem.

Canine Partners receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from the public and legacies to help them continue their life-transforming work.

Yorkshire Three Peaks – our greatest challenge yet!

On Saturday 10th August 2019, Lynne, Julie and James will be taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge. This route is 24 miles (38.6km), and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Their goal is to raise as much money for Canine Partners as possible. Any donation, big or small will be greatly appreciated and really will make a difference.
