We chose to walk our sponsored Yorkshire Three Peak challenge on the 10th August and just hoped it wouldn’t be too hot! Little did we know we would be surviving 60mph winds and torrential rain (& we mean torrential rain).
We conquered Ingeborough, the first peak fully but as the conditions worsened the next two peaks were inaccessible so we were taken on a lower path for safety reasons.
Still achieving a 20 mile trek in 8 hours with over a 1,000 metre climb in very challenging conditions. We were soaked to our skin but feeling great about completing the day. Raising over £1000 for our Charity, Canine Partners, we are very grateful to all those who sponsored us.
