HIKrobot CL Linescan CoaXPress Over Fiber Camera

Outstanding price/performance

The HIKRobot MV-CL Series XoF cameras combine the power of HIKRobot’s proven line-scan technology with the advanced transmission capabilities of CoaXPress over Fiber. By leveraging a fibre optic link, these cameras offer significantly higher data throughput and far greater transmission distance than traditional coaxial systems — making them ideal for demanding industrial imaging environments.

Utilising high-performance GPixel (or equivalent) CMOS linear sensors, the MV-CL XoF range provides crisp, low-noise imaging at line rates suited to high-speed web inspection, surface inspection, and other continuous-motion applications. Multiple ISP (Image Signal Processing) algorithms — such as flat-field correction, gamma correction, LUT, black-level offset, and more — deliver superior image fidelity and consistency.

The series supports flexible exposure control (trigger-width, timed exposure), along with a range of triggering modes (hardware, software, free-run), enabling reliable synchronization with external lighting, web motion, or production line timing. With onboard corrections for fixed pattern noise (FPN) and photo-response non-uniformity (PRNU), image quality remains stable and repeatable, even in demanding production settings.

Key Features
  • High Resolution & Speed – Available in multiple line resolutions (4k–16k), enabling wide-area coverage or fine-detail scanning.
  • Advanced ISP Algorithms – Includes flat-field correction, gamma, LUT, black-level offset, colour correction (in colour models), and more.
  • Flexible Exposure & Triggering – Trigger-width controlled exposure, hardware and software trigger modes, free-run support.
  • Long-Distance, High-Bandwidth Interface – CoaXPress-over-Fiber (XoF) interface allows high-bandwidth data transfer over fibre optic cabling, enabling extended link length and reduced signal loss.
  • GenICam Compatibility – Fully GenICam compliant, ensuring integration with third-party software platforms like Euresys Open eVision and MVTec HALCON.
  • Robust Industrial Build – Certified to CE, FCC, RoHS standards, designed for reliable operation in production environments.
  • 3-Year Warranty – Backed by HIKRobot’s standard three-year warranty, giving peace of mind for long-term deployment.
