The Photoneo Alpha 3D Scanner from Photoneo delivers fast, reliable 3D data acquisition for a wide range of industrial machine vision tasks. Designed for simplicity and rapid deployment, this structured light 3D scanner combines high-quality point cloud capture with an easy plug-and-play setup, making it an ideal solution for automation, logistics, and robotics applications.

Producing up to 1.5 million 3D points per scan, the Alpha scanner provides detailed and accurate 3D data including point clouds, depth maps, surface normals, and texture information. With scanning ranges extending up to 4 metres, the system can capture both small objects and larger scenes with ease.

Engineered for industrial environments, the Alpha 3D Scanner features ambient light suppression, ensuring reliable performance even under challenging lighting conditions. Its IP65-rated housing protects against dust and water ingress, while the lightweight design allows the scanner to be mounted directly onto robotic arms for flexible hand-eye applications.

Integration into existing machine vision systems is straightforward thanks to GigE connectivity and Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability, enabling both power and data transmission through a single cable. With setup possible in just minutes, the Alpha 3D Scanner offers an efficient and cost-effective route to implementing 3D vision in modern automation environments.
